Did Citizens United matter in 2012?

At $6 billion, the 2012 election shattered all records.90% of the candidates with the bigger war chest won. Citizens United mattered in 2012, and revealed more clearly than ever the urgent need for public financing of elections.  You can help by supporting a nationwide movement toward a constitutional amendment to roll back Citizens United.   What:  An “Occupy the Courthouse Rally”  to mark the third anniversary of Citizens United.  Co-sponsors:   Move to Amend-South Central Indiana (MTA-SCI), Democracy Matters, and Common Cause/Indiana.Where:  Birch Bayh Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, 46 East Ohio, Indianapolis.When:  Friday noon, January 18, 2013.Why:  We hope to use this  occasion to build a coalition with our neighbors to the north.  After the rally we will join for lunch.  Please notify friends who might wish to attend the rally.   For more information, query movetoamendssi@gmail.com.
