Our broken immigration system already denies millions of workers
access to basic rights and protections on the job. But this isn’t just
a problem for immigrants. All workers are losing ground in a system
that allows corrupt employers to suppress basic organizing rights,
intimidate and retaliate against employees, and use immigration
status to prevent workers from speaking out. Join us to learn more.
The South Central Indiana Workers’ Rights Board was formed by the
South Central Indiana Chapter of Jobs With Justice in March 2013.
It brings together political, religious, and educational leaders of the community to provide a resource for workers who feel they are being exploited by their employers. Workers’ Rights Boards have formed in dozens of cities since 1993 to give workers another way to assert their legal rights.
